I was the Animation Director for Duolingo’s Duoshorts, and in my role I animated multiple shots in Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects, directed a team of animators to make sure the style and branding was accurate, and puncutally delivered animated assets to the client’s satisfaction. I highlighted the characters’ bright and comical personalities through their acting, and the end results were educational and captivating mini episodes explaining cultural customs such as quinceañeras. The end result were two colorful and highly-beloved videos by the Duolingo community, garnering over 1+ million views collectively on YouTube.
